Tarot and Tadasana: How the Fool’s Journey Can Inform Your Yoga Practice

The Fool begins the Tarot’s great adventure, stepping into the unknown with openness and trust. Along the way, each card becomes a guide, reflecting the challenges, archetypes, and transformations we encounter in our own lives. The 8 Limbs of Yoga offer us practical tools to move through these same stages—ethics, self-discipline, embodiment, breath, concentration, meditation, and finally, union.

In this workshop, we will explore how the Fool’s symbolic journey mirrors the yogic path, weaving together storytelling, philosophy, and guided meditation. Through this integration, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of both Tarot and Yoga as maps of the soul, and leave with practices to bring these teachings into your own life.

Whether you're new to intention setting or have been practicing it for years, this is a wonderful opportunity to tap into the energy of the group, close 2025 with gratitude, and begin 2026 with clarity, purpose, and positive energy.

Join us for an afternoon of fun, creativity, connection, and abundant possibilities! Mocktails, munchies, and motivation included! Don't forget to invite a friend!

We will provide glue, scissors, magazines, stickers, and the poster board.

  • When dressing for class, opt for something comfortable and easy to move in.

  • Consider bringing a water bottle, towel, and yoga mat. For your convenience we sell/rent these items in the studio.

  • Upon entering the studio, check in at the counter, silence your cell phone and leave it in your cubby along with your shoes and socks. Yoga is done barefoot. The goal is to maintain a balance between effort and ease throughout class. It is possible that you will feel challenged in certain postures. With challenge comes growth, we invite you to breath deep and honor your limits.

  • Studio doors open 20 minutes prior to class start time. Arrive a minimum of 5 minutes prior to class unless it’s your first time, then please arrive 15 minutes prior. Plan to stay for the entire class, leaving early disrupts the flow of class and may disturb other practitioners.

  • As any form of fitness, it is recommended that you practice on an empty stomach and hydrate appropriately.

  • We strive to create a positive experience for all practitioners. We ask for your support in following Studio Etiquette:

    Silence Your Cell Phone and leave it in your cubby. Refrain from cell phone use during class.

    Arrive 5-10 Minutes Prior to Class Start Time to Check in and Set Up Your Mat

    Refrain from Wearing Heavy Perfumes or Scents
