TEACHING TEAM

Nichole Bashara

Hi, I'm Nichole. My yoga journey began with a friend bringing me to a class and signing up for teacher training before our intro offer was expired. I did yoga youtube videos but that was as deep as my yoga knowledge. I quickly fell in love with how challenging yoga could be in different poses and the mental challenge. The growth I can personally see in myself is from the a challenging practice

I've been teaching yoga since 2019. Yoga has taught me not only to break outside of my comfort zone but to step into the leader I can be. I love leading a group of yogis into their peace while having fun. Having fun is the most important part of yoga. I love to incorporate music that just brings me joy and hope it brings the yogis I teach as much joy.

Outside of yoga I am a behavior analyst. My passion is helping the lives of children with special needs. My partner and I enjoy traveling as much as we can. We enjoy exploring new cultures and places together.

Spencer Dickman

Spencer began practicing yoga in 2017, and at first, yoga was simply a way for her to relieve aches and discomfort caused by 15-plus years of competitive cheerleading. However, yoga quickly became a way of life and a much-needed outlet for her to stay grounded outside of her career in corporate finance and commercial broking. After five years of practicing yoga regularly, she pursued her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2021. Since becoming a yoga instructor, Spencer loves to teach classes that are full of fun vibes, great music, lots of power and the perfect balance of peace. Spencerʼs goal in teaching is to help every yogi feel a little lighter and fuller than when he/she/they entered the studio. Sheʼs a proud mama to her vibrant daughter, Brooklyn, wife to her supportive husband, Tad, and owner of an awesome Irish Setter, Scout. Spencer recently moved to Ponte Vedra Beach from San Marco and is excited to spend her free time at the beach. She hopes to see you on the mat soon!

   Nina Frank

Hello, I'm Nina! I first found yoga while living in China in 2003 and have kept it woven into my way of being ever since. To me, yoga embraces a growth mindset and provides a point of reference for all I am and create. I earned my RYT200 yoga instructor credential in 2018 and have continued to study how to meet yogis where they are so they may take themselves where they want to be. In 2023 I became certified at the RYT500 level. It's my hope those in my classes feel grounded and empowered to create new edges both on and off their mat.

As a yoga student, I find the time I invest in my yoga practice presents an infinite possibility to be the person I want to be while creating the memories I want to remember. When I'm not working as a financial crimes analyst or in the yoga studio, I enjoy taking my dog on long meditative walks, camping with my daughter's scout troop, or preparing home cooked meals with my daughter and husband.

As an inclusionist, I believe the practice of yoga, however preferred, is for everyone and hope to see you on your mat soon.

Kathleen Freund

Kathleen sought out yoga as an endurance runner looking to enhance running and immediately fell in love with the challenging practice and the community that yoga offered. Kathleen enjoys the physical aspect, as well as the grounding tools yoga offers. Tools like tapping into greater presence and living with more compassion, authenticity, and depth of connection.  Kathleen hopes to share her passion for yoga and guide students to connect deeper within themselves to find their own tools to presence, breath, and connection. Kathleen's passion is teaching Vinyasa and Power classes, and is also a certified SUP yoga instructor, as well as a competitive runner.

Dedric Holmes

Hello, I'm Dedric Holmes!

Yoga has complemented my life over the past 10 years—two years as a student and the last eight as a teacher who loves to unroll his mat and flow with my students. With over 24 years of experience in nonprofit management and youth development, I have always had a heart for building community. Yoga gives me the opportunity to impact both my life and the lives of my students through guided flows that focus on using our breath to overcome challenges and thrive both on and off the mat.

I have recently taken on the Executive Director position at the Pebble Beach Junior Golf Association. You'll find me playing golf, skiing, traveling, or watching the Nevada Wolf Pack in my free time. I'm passionate about spending time with my family and promoting diversity. Yoga teaches me to let go, create space, and practice forgiveness.

Looking forward to connecting with you!

Kintu Makanji

Hi! I’m Kintu Makanji and I started a dedicated yoga practice in 2007 after realizing the need to make healthier choices in order to show up as a patient, kind, and energetic mom to my children. I found power yoga increased my energy, lifted my mood, and provided an inspiring community that became a support system. Since completing my first yoga training in 2008, I’ve embarked on a journey completing over 2000 hours of training in various traditions including Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation, Yin Yoga and Isha Yoga. I wear a few hats at Starfit Yoga including content creator, management, marketing and teacher trainer. I love to spend time with my family and in nature - barefoot beach walks and hiking. I’m a fan of home cooked meals and discovering tasty healthy recipes. I’m registered with Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT 500‐hour level and my passion is to utilize the practices of yoga to create fulfillment and vitality.

 Namrata Rohack

Hi, I’m Namrata, or Namru. I’m a yoga teacher with a 500-hour certification and I’m currently training to be a yoga therapist. I started yoga for its physical benefits, but I soon realized it could transform my whole life. Over the past seven years, yoga has helped me through big changes, including dealing with fertility challenges after years of trying to conceive.

In my classes, I aim to bring a sense of grounding and calm to my students, helping them become more aware of their bodies. I believe yoga can improve every part of life, and it has supported me through the journey of building a family. My goal is to share this with others and help them find harmony and balance through yoga.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my family, tending to my garden, taking morning walks on the beach, and discovering new places around the city.
